Hebrew slang expressions
Let's look at some common Hebrew slang expressions.
Balagan – a mess.
Achi – "bro" or "man". Literally means "my brother", but is used as a way of referring to other guys as well, not necessary your friends.
Yalla - “Let’s go” or “come on!” Derived from Arabic.
Yesh! – "I won!" Literally means "there is", but is used to show enthusiasm for accomplishing something.
Ke'iloo – "like". A "filler". A meaningless word that is used to fill in gaps in thought while speaking.
